Dear Roshan,
Studying in a new school without your company seems to be a little difficult but I have adjusted myself in the new environment. I have not heard from you for a long time. I hope you too are doing well in your studies.
Daddy has admitted me to one of the oldest schools of the city. The name of my new school is `Kingston Boys’ High School’. My school is 151 years old. Our school has three buildings and a huge playground. A small hostel for outstation students is situated in the campus. More than 2000 students study in my school. My school has 39 classrooms. It has a much bigger laboratory and library than ours.
Our Principal is a very strict man. He strongly demands discipline from us. He teaches us Mathematics and Science. Every building of our school has a dining hall for students. There are in all 30 teachers and 10 peons in my school. All of them carry out their duties with great concern, dedication, and enthusiasm.
We have a huge assembly hall on the ground floor. Daily we assemble for our morning prayers and school song. Annual prize distribution function and other activities are held here. We even have a small water fountain in the middle of the campus.
My school publishes a yearly magazine named ‘Kingston King’. All the interesting events and achievements of students are mentioned in it. I will send you a copy of the magazine. My school also runs boxing and dancing classes. We also have our own troop of Boy Scouts. One can say that it is an ideal school in every respect.
I feel very sorry to depart from you. Even you must be feeling the same. I hope that you will not forget me and the bad and good times we spent together since standard III. I am sure even you will keep in my touch by regularly writing letters to me.
Study well for the coming examinations. My best wishes are always with you.
Yours loving friend,
Rohan
