Dear parents,
You will not be very pleased with my delayed letter informing you about my wellbeing. Since I came here, I was busy settling myself in a new environment away from you. I felt great discomfort staying without you. Initially, for a few days, I felt miserable and homesick. When I came here, some doubts surrounded my mind that will I be able to adjust myself and will be treated well?
Let me tell you with great happiness that all these worries disappeared by the end of the first week. It is a thrilling experience of practicing everything on our own. I have made a couple of helpful, sincere, good, and caring friends. The hostel has a very big library. The recreation hall has many exciting indoor games, cable television, and a radio. However, I am not much satisfied with the food given here.
Our Principle is very strict and disciplinarian. Teachers are devoted to their work. They are always ready to help me out by solving my quarries in my studies. Moreover, I give enough time to studies, as it is the main reason for my coming here.
Give my warm regards to uncle Brandon and love to dear Pearl. I miss you all.
