Report on “First Aid Training Programme”
Workshop in First Aid Training Programme was organised by the Red Cross Society of Alpa School. On June 16 the whole programme went off for 10 days and the students from the 9th class onward participated in it. There were doctors called from hospitals to give children thactical demonstrations in various circumstances. First Aid treatment was given in case of road accidents, serious burns, electric shocks, dislocation etc. It was told that the first and the foremost thing one should remember is to remain composed and think positively. One must try and not to create havoc. Our aim should be while providing first aid to the person to protect or save the life and help him/her from recovery. But at the same time we must keep ourselves cool: A small first aid was also taught to be made and what important things the box should contain. At the end of the workshop, everybody felt himself or herself confident enough to provide first aid to the person in need.
