Report on “Special Cleanliness Drive Programme”

The Eco Club of A.M.M. High School launched a special cleanliness drive in the school and its neighbourhood from March 24 to March 30. Approximately all the students from primary to the senior department participated in it which great zeal and enthusiasm. They were told that though they should keep their home and school clean, but at the same time it is their duty as responsible citizens to keep their surroundings clean too. This, however, includes the streets, roads, parks etc. They were also told that they should throw the waste in the dustbins and not in drains since it causes blockage. They also went out and swept the neighbouring streets encouraging others to participate too. They sprayed mosquito-killing sprays in the drains to avoid the breeding of mosquitos. It was indeed, an impressive effort taken by them to make the people also aware about the need to keep their surroundings and city clean.
