Report on ‘Water Conservation Awareness Camp’

9th March, 20xx, Gurgaon: ‘Conserve water’ campaign was conducted by various social organisations and our Maryland school as a part of World Water Day Celebrations. Hundreds of students shouting slogans and carrying play-cards and banners marched towards Parliament House. The posters and banners which read water is Elixir Don’t Waste Water No life without water etc. showed the importance of water in life. It was stressed that problem of water shortage during summer could be tackled by harvesting rainwater in lakes, ponds and reservoirs. Students were shouting slogans. Do not let rain flow away in waste. Rather rain could be utilized properly. The campaign was really an eye-opener for the people. The media persons, the press, and the photographers were busy in covering this unique campaign.
